Sarah Beckett

At Willis Legal Sarah is involved mainly in the areas of private conveyancing, Company Law, Trusts and Estates.
She was also a highly respected Tutor of Property Law and Practice for the Legal Executives Diploma at EIT, and a current Board Member of Clive School and former Board Member of Napier Kindergarten Association and Napier Family Centre.

Mark Goodson

Mark returned to Hawke’s Bay from overseas several years ago after working for some of London’s largest commercial law firms.
His specialist experience includes Commercial Law (commercial contracts, sale and purchase of businesses, franchise agreements, terms of trade), Corporate Law (shareholder agreements, all aspects of corporate governance) and Property Law (subdivisions, commercial leases, commercial and residential conveyancing).

Emma Roberts

Emma is an experienced commercial and property lawyer, who specialises in advising on a broad range of commercial transactions, including business acquisitions, corporate structuring, franchise agreements, shareholder arrangements, and commercial leasing.
Originally from the Hawkes Bay, Emma returned in 2012 to join Willis Legal after gaining experience working in prominent law firms in London and Auckland. Outside of work, Emma spends time with her young family and enjoys the Hawkes Bay lifestyle.

Bruce Gilmour

Bruce is a popular and highly respected member of the New Zealand legal profession and has been the Vice-President of the New Zealand Law Society and President of the Hawke’s Bay Branch of the New Zealand Law Society.
He is currently a member of the NZLS Practice Approval Committee.

Justin Cameron

Justin is a local Napier boy, and having started his career in Auckland, has done his OE and is now settled into the beautiful Hawke’s Bay with his young family.
He has a broad range of high-quality litigation experience, starting out at a large national law firm before working for some of the largest firms in the world during his time in London. Justin joins Willis Legal after spending the last couple of years at a local Napier firm.
With over 10 years’ experience in the profession, he aims to provide practical legal advice that achieves the best results for his clients.
In his spare time, Justin enjoys making the most of the Hawke’s Bay lifestyle, and can often be found fishing on one of the local rivers or out on the bike trails.

Emily Stannard

Emily started her career volunteering with VSA in Samoa and was a Judges’ clerk and then solicitor in the Bay of Plenty before joining Willis Legal in 2017. She practises primarily in family law, with some civil litigation and mental health law. She enjoys running and reading in her spare time and sings in the Napier Civic Choir.

Casey Hucker

Casey is a Napier local who graduated from The University of Otago in 2003. She commenced her legal career at Willis Legal before heading off on her OE.
She has a vast amount of property experience having worked for a well-known national property consultancy firm and a local Napier firm before returning to Willis Legal.
She has passion and enthusiasm for her job and enjoys working with individuals to ensure their experience is seamless and stress-free and clients appreciate her easy-going approachable style.
